Platopus Retail Terms of Use for Adobe Express Integration

Effective Date: 1st March 2025


Acceptance of Terms
By using the Adobe Express integration (“the Editor”) within the Platopus Retail platform (“the Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Use as well as Platopus Retail’s general Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Editor.


Use of the Editor

  • An active Adobe subscription is required to access and use the Editor’s features. This subscription is independent of Platopus Retail and governed by Adobe’s own terms and policies.
  • You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations when creating, uploading, or displaying content, recognizing that you are responsible for such compliance in whichever jurisdiction you choose to display this content.


User Content

  • You are solely responsible for any content you create, upload, or modify using the Editor, ensuring it does not infringe any intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
  • By creating or uploading content via the Editor, you grant Platopus Retail the limited right to store and display rendered content within the Platform, as described in our Privacy Policy.


Deletion of Content

  • You may delete your Document references and rendered content stored in the Platform at any time, after which it will no longer be accessible on the Platform.
  • Content on Adobe’s platform remains there until you delete it within your Adobe Express account or close your Adobe account.


Intellectual Property

  • All trademarks, service marks, and logos of Platopus Retail or Adobe belong to their respective owners. You do not gain ownership rights by using or viewing the Editor.
  • You must respect all applicable intellectual property rights when using or creating content in the Editor.


No Warranties
The Editor is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Platopus Retail disclaims all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.


Limitations of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Platopus Retail will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Editor, including but not limited to loss of data, interruption of service, or system malfunction.


Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, regardless of conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising under or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in England and Wales.


Modifications to These Terms
We may update or modify these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the Editor after any such changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the Platform or by other appropriate means.
